Horsham returned to league action with a bang last night, smashing five unanswered goals past a luckless Whitehawk who lost defender Tarik Moore-Azille to an ACL injury in the opening moments. And it was in the time added on at the end of the half following the injury that the Hornets effectively secured their success.

Already leading by Lee Harding’s fine opener, the home side added further goals through Reece Meekums, Shamir Fenelon and Ola Oganwamide in the 17 additional minutes to open up a four goal lead to which James Hammond added a stunning second half fifth.
